<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The presented study analyzes the evolution of the concept of political leadership; examines the specific features of self-presentation of political leaders associated with development of digital communication technologies; develop and substantiate the methodological principles of analyzing the strategies of political leaders in the online space; identify and describe the major research methods, including the specific aspects of working with big data when analyzing the digital communication of political leaders; examines modern methods of mathematical modeling that make it possible to solve problems in the development and implementation of efficient online strategies for political leaders (probability models, deterministic and stochastic models, models based on game theory, etc.).</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>политический лидер</kwd><kwd>самопрезентация</kwd><kwd>стратегия</kwd><kwd>коммуникация</kwd><kwd>онлайн-пространство</kwd><kwd>интернет</kwd><kwd>модели</kwd><kwd>цифровизация</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>political leader</kwd><kwd>selfpresenta strategy</kwd><kwd>communication</kwd><kwd>online space</kwd><kwd>Internet</kwd><kwd>models</kwd><kwd>digitalization</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">статья подготовлена в ходе исследования, проведенного при финансовой поддержке Российского фонда фундаментальных исследований (РФФИ) в рамках научного проекта № 19-011-31651 «Коммуникативные стратегии российских политических лидеров в онлай-пространстве».</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">This study was funded by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) within the framework of project No. 19-011-31651 Communication strategies of Russian political leaders in the online space.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Van Seters D.
