Labor Motivation of Pedagogical Personnel: Comparative Research

Abstract

The urgency of the problem of labor motivation of the teaching staff is confirmed by the increased attention of foreign scientists, as evidenced by the increase in the number of studies on this topic. Teachers should be motivated, their job satisfaction and a positive psychological climate are crucial in achieving high performance for the entire institution. This article analyzed 19 studies of foreign scientists on the topic of labor motivation of teaching staff. The results of scientific research are compared and the analysis is carried out to cover the understanding of the labor motivation of teachers. Our review provided a synthesis of research related to teacher motivation, job satisfaction, and PsyCap. A link was established between the PsyCap indicator and job satisfaction. This analysis can help educational institutions to assess the level of satisfaction of the teaching staff and develop management decisions in the field of work motivation. This literature review is designed to study research related to PsyCap work and teacher motivation, given that both designs play a crucial role in teacher motivation - we expect this review to be useful for developing research work educator motivation and will provide comprehensive knowledge of the relationship between the two most important variables in the organizational field, i. e. work motivation and satisfaction.
