Abstract

Recent geopolitical events in the world riveting the world’s attention to the Middle East region - the cradle of Islamic civilization. Current processes raise questions of religion, extremism, intercultural dialogue, civilizational conflicts that have recently seemed solved. Islamization, the spread of Islam, the youngest and most dynamic of the monotheistic religions, has a significant impact on both the cultural and the social and political processes in the world.
