The formedness level of cultural and historical memory among student-age population

Abstract

According to the article authors, the analysis of studies performed over the past five years has revealed the absence of the interest of scientists in analyzing the processes of historical memory formation among young people. These days, this problem is especially urgent. In this regard, there is a need to study the state of historical memory among students, as well as to search for the most effective methods and ways of its formation. The study aimed to reveal the role of cultural and historical memory in the life of student-age population. The article reveals the problem of illiteracy, in particular the presence of gaps associated with lack of knowledge about the historical past of the mother country. The general attitude of students to history is analyzed.
