Prospects for an understanding of the conflict in the development of professional identity
Abstract
The analysis of behavior peculiarities of the personality in difficult and conflict situations of professional activity is represented in the article. The methodological principles of a conflict formation in a group are allocated. W. Thomas, K. Levin, H. Tajfel, J. C. Turner’s concepts are considered. The special attention is paid to a problem of social relationship of individuals as the main factor influencing formation of social and professional identity of the personality. The attention is focused on conditions which promote transformation of professional identity. Conclusions are drawn that each of subjects of a conflict situation has the developed repertoire of behavior. Productivity of decision making depends on cognitive complexity and depth of behavior patterns. Results of research of behavior styles and peculiarities of professional identity are represented.
